Rhino Virius, Pneumonia, Congenital muscular disorder, failure to thrive
Remi was hospitalized in Rapid City, SD due to failure to thrive and a respiratory virus. She then contracted pneumonia and was flown to Sioux Falls to the Sanford Children's Hospital. Through routine testing, they found that she has a congenital muscular disorder. We are currently waiting for different genetic test results to figure out what type she has while we work on feeding issues, physical and occupational therapy, and getting over the respiratory problems associated with pneumonia.
