Lucas was a normal healthy child. On April 27, 2019, I was given the most devastating news that he had a massive brain tumor. After several tests were completed, his mother, father, step-father, grandparents, aunts, and uncles were all informed in a tiny room, that his brain tumor was inoperable because it consumed his entire right lobe. We set out on a mission to find a specialist that would state differently. Lucas has seizures because the tumor has grown and pressed his right hemisphere into his left. Normally a DNET tumor can't be managed with anti-seizure medications, however, his is being managed for now. We have traveled to New York to meet with a specialist in hopes he can help my baby boy. As we are from Texas, it has taken us from our home and jobs.
