A few months ago, I received an unexpected and devastating Stage 4 Melanoma diagnosis. I was initially diagnosed about 2 years ago, and recently it was found to have spread to my liver and lung.
I am 39-years old and have a beautiful 2-year-old son, Harrison, who loves hanging out with his dad, putting together puzzles, playing trucks, drawing, and splashing in puddles. He is so loved by his family, friends, and colleagues.
I will be undergoing extensive treatment over the next few months. It is my hope that these treatments will reduce the cancer and extend my current life expectancy. While the prognosis is difficult, I am committed to fighting with everything I have so I can continue to be around for the many future milestones in my son’s life.
My treatments are expensive, and I hope to raise funds to help cover the portion of treatment that won’t be covered by insurance, as well as provide overall financial support for my son, Harrison.
