Tetralogy of Fallot
My name is Gene. I was born with a CHD called tetralogy of fallot. My mommy and daddy didn’t know I was going to be born with a heart defect, but they found out the day after I was brought home from the hospital. I started seeing my cardiologist all the way in Minneapolis every other week for the first 4 months of my life. When I stopped gaining weight the doctor said they needed to operate on my heart. I had my heart all patched up on 11/06/2018. My family is so grateful to all the wonderful doctors and nurses that helped take care of me during my hospital stay. My mommy and daddy stayed with me at the hospital. I’m so happy to be home now with mom, dad and my puppy peanut.
