This is Tianna Martinez and this is her story.
Tianna was born a healthy baby but at 5 weeks old she contracted Group B Strep Meningitis. This changed our lives forever. Following the meningitis, Tianna was left with cerebral palsy, spastic quadriplegic, hypertonia, seizures, feeding problems, GERD,  dysplasia  and many more issues. In Tianna’s first two years of life we had spent roughly half of her life in a hospital. It was normal for us and we had become accustomed to how her life was. Get sick, go to the hospital, stay there for a few weeks, come home, repeat.

But there was one month, August of 2022 where she wasn’t hospitalized at all. We immensely praised God! We figured this might be her really getting better and growing out of these constant sicknesses. Then came November 30th. Tianna got RSV and was intubated to be able to breathe. She was hospitalized from November 30-Dec 12. Following that, she came home on Dec 12th and went back to the hospital with a 30 hours non stop seizure on December 18th (that caused more brain damage then she already had). We stayed until December 31st and went back January 1st. We stayed until the 7th and came back on the 21st. We left on Feb 7th and came back on the 10th. We left on the 13th and came back the 14th.

I am not the type of person to ask for financial help because it makes me feel weird. But we cannot financially survive right now. I fear that we may be evicted from our home and I don’t want to lose my car. I have an immense faith that God will do what He needs to do in this situation. So I do not fear. But I do know that we need help and I am being strong by asking for it. If you feel called or led to help in ANY WAY, whether that be prayer, helping with my other children (ages 1, and 3), or financially, we would be extremely grateful.

I do my best to lend hope and be a friend to everyone we meet. I feel life is best lived by looking on the positive side of things and even though I am a single mom of 3 under 3, I fear nothing because God is on our side.
Thank you for taking the time to read and help!
    Praying you stay blessed.
