The Mooney Family

Hi, we're the Mooneys, Theo and Lewis!! We are identical twins who decided to join the world at 34 weeks. Lewis our baby B was shown to have growth restrictions, also known as IUGR. Both boys shared a placenta and fought for food. At 23 weeks Lewis decided to give Mom and Dad a scare by having reverse flow of blood at our scan. So after 4 days in the hospital things improved but with thought that most babies with his condition only make it on average to 28 weeks.  We had to travel to the cities , about an hour and a half drive every week for ultrasounds. He did surprise us all and made it to 34 weeks where both boys were sent NICU to overcome their immature lungs and to learn to grow!
