Premature Birth
At 31 weeks gestation, Jonathan was born weighing 2 lb 2 oz and he was IUGR (Intrauterine growth restriction). At birth, he was diagnosed with several conditions that have kept him rotating between NICU and ICC. Currently, we have been at children's hospital Minnesota for 3 months. We do not have an idea when he will be released yet however we do not plan to have him in child care until after a year. This will likely require his mother to leave her full time job to take care of him thus leaving the family on one income.
