Xander was born 6 weeks early via c section. He was definitely excited to see the world. Since he was in the NICU, I went back to work because my baby is in the NICU anyway and decided to save my maternity leave when he's home. I just found out that my STD will not pay me my full 8 weeks because I decided to work, they will only pay me 2 weeks because my post partum started Oct 12th. I got screwed because I decided not to take maternity leave right away so now, I have no income for the rest of the time I am off for maternity and the bills are starting to stack up
