The Werner Family

Sage is eleven years old now. He was born with a large hole in his heart. He also has Down Syndrome, epilepsy, autism, and a bunch of other medical problems. Sage was hospitalized from May 21st through June 4th, because he needed a heart valve replacement (the old one was wearing out.) This was major surgery and definitely a life-threatening situation. Sage is home now (finally) and is recovering.
