My name is Cassandra and I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Breast Cancer. I am pleased to announce that I am a new grandmother and he is just the absolute highlight to my life. I have daughters, but I do not want them to be burdened with becoming my caregiver, as I was for my mother. Although I do not regret taking care of her, I don't want that for my children. 

My partner, who I've been with for 13 years, is amazing and has gone to every appointment with me. He understands what taking care of me through this journey entails. He is our provider and employed full time, but will be forced to miss work to care for me, with not only chemo, but also surgeries. I'm especially concerned about the mastectomy with how hard recovery is, Any assistance is greatly appreciate. Thank you.
