The Berger Family
Our Story
This battle has changed every part of my life. It’s not just the pain or exhaustion—it’s the days I’ve had to miss work, the growing medical bills, and the fear that comes with not knowing what the next scan or test will bring. Despite it all, I keep pushing forward, holding onto hope and faith even when it feels like everything is falling apart.
I never thought I’d be in a position where I’d need to ask for help, but cancer takes more than strength—it takes resources. I’ve fallen behind on bills while trying to keep up with treatment and daily living costs. I am doing my best, but I can’t do it alone anymore. Any help, no matter how small, would mean the world and would help lift some of the heavy burden this illness has placed on me.
Every bit of support brings me closer to stability, healing, and the chance to focus on getting better instead of constantly worrying about surviving financially.
Family Updates
First, I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to read, share, donate, or simply keep me in your thoughts. Your kindness has meant more than I can ever express.
I wish I were posting better news, but I'm still struggling with the financial impact of my breast cancer journey. While I'm incredibly grateful to be here, the medical bills continue to pile up. Even with insurance, deductibles, co-pays, surgeries, treatments, follow-up appointments, medications, and ongoing care have created a financial burden that has been difficult to overcome.
I've always worked hard and tried to handle life's challenges on my own. Asking for help is not easy for me, but right now I truly need it. Every dollar donated goes directly toward my outstanding medical expenses and helps relieve some of the stress that has followed me long after my treatment ended.
If you're unable to donate, sharing my fundraiser with your friends and family is just as meaningful. You never know who may be able to help or who has been in a similar situation.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your compassion, generosity, and support. It gives me hope during a time when I need it most.
With gratitude, Donna Berger
