Who doesn’t love a day filled with presents, cookies, crafts, pictures with Santa, and the movie Elf?
For the Spare Key team, one of our favorite events of the year is the one where we have just that!
Each December, Spare Key hosts a free event called “Cookies with Santa”.
This event is the perfect opportunity for families to partake in every one of their favorite holiday traditions all in one day! From getting their photos taken with Santa to watching holiday movies, and even putting together crafts! Plus, as an added bonus, every child who attends gets to pick out their favorite toy to bring home from Santa!

Each year, we are incredibly grateful to Hiway Credit Union for allowing us to use their conference room space for this celebration! And once again this year, Cookies with Santa will be held at the Hiway Credit Union Administration Building in Saint Paul on Sunday, December 10th from 2:00-4:00pm!
Year after year we love meeting new families and visiting with families that join us each year! We always have families in attendance that Spare Key has either helped in the past, or that are currently on our Help Me Bounce platform. Seeing these families grow each year is one of the highlights of the day for the Spare Key team.
This year, in addition to the venue donation, Hiway Credit Union and four other amazing companies have volunteered to help secure toys for us to give away. With the combined effort of Hiway Credit Union, TitleSmart Inc, Epic Property Services, Starkey, and Lend Smart Mortgage, we will have plenty of toys for each and every child that attends!
One of my personal favorites to see at Cookies with Santa every year is how excited the kids are when they get to pick out their toy.
The joy and excitement is contagious and makes for a wonderful reminder of what the holiday season is all about.
