I am a mother of two wonderful girls. In 2024, I was diagnosed with breast cancer stage 3. Last month, I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. Last month, I went on FMLA due to the cancer returning. This blindsided me. My diagnosis was that I was only in remission for 1 month. I've just been promoted to a Supervisor position at my job. I was thinking about buying a house. Now my whole world is turned upside down. I don't know how I will be able to afford my bills, take care of my children, and attend cancer treatment.
