Our Story
Sage was born on 11/20/25 via emergency C-section because of a placenta abruption. Sage had blood in her lungs and stomach because of it, and had to be resuscitated. She was brought to the NICU and her team’s assessment was to do therapeutic hypothermia to watch her neuro development and let her brain heal.
Family Updates
Update
Little update - Sage is off Oxygen and her TPN line is out. She is working on eating more and that’s the biggest hurdle. She had a couple spells where her heart rate dropped and needed stimulation to bring it back up. So they are also monitoring that too. She is improving but still in has a ways to go.
