Delaney had a rough road to even get to 32 weeks when she was born. Between vasa previa, a two vessel cord, IUGR, and a velamentous cord insertion she fought hard to get that far. At 32 weeks mom was hospitalized for the vasa previa as a precaution and was supposed to deliver at 34 or 35 weeks, Delaney decided that was not going to happen, she was coming a short 6 days later. She will now be in the NICU for at least a month, getting bigger and stronger every day.
