The Miller Family
Our Story
My name is JP Miller, and on December 18th, 2025, my life changed forever. I was diagnosed with Group 4 Medulloblastoma. What is typically a rare childhood cancer, its an even more rare cancer in adults, with only 50-200 cases a year in the USA.
Before the diagnosis, I was in college full time working towards a degree in counseling, and working part-time for Habitat for Humanity Restore. I had just purchased my first truck. Now, I am no longer able to work because the tumor was on my cerebellum and my walking, balance and vision has been affected and my left side.
We are hopeful that I will mostly recover with time, but until then, my parents have missed work and my mom has used all of her sick and vacation time for the year. Treatment is not near us, so we had to move 3.5 hours away for my PT and radiation. I will start my Chemo next month and it will last 8 months. My mom will have to miss more work with no pay and I can not physically do my job anymore.
I just know that God is using this. Though it's been hard, my mom and I have decided from the beginning, we wanted to be a vessel for GOD. I will come out of this better, maybe not physically, but spiritually I will! Thank you for the support.
