The Tenerelli Family
Our Story
Dalton is 2 years old, and has had multiple hospitalizations since birth. He has a complex medical history including cerebral Palsy, HIE, chronic lung disease, and requires a feeding tube due to these conditions. On June 8th we had a routine change for his feeding tube and 24 hours later, he was rushed to the hospital after having a seizure causing him to become lethargic and septic. A week later we find out Daltons feeding tube had perforated his bowel, and he was rushed into emergency surgery. Due to the location of the perforation, and the urgency, Dalton has had to remain in the PICU to recover while the surgeons come up with a plan to repair the bowel further. At this time we do not know how long Dalton will be in the PICU, and our family would appreciate any support at this time. Thank you.
Family Updates
Dalton has now been admitted for over 2 months with still no idea as to when discharge will come. He is scheduled to have surgery September 1st and we will hopefully know more then. With me being out of work until he is home, we are asking for help from those who are able.
Thank you for the continued love, prayers, and support for our boy. ❤️
