I believe the true measure of a person is not the hardships they have endured, but the love, kindness, courage, and hope they continue to share despite them.

As a mother, domestic violence survivor, and woman facing stage IV metastatic breast cancer, I have experienced challenges that could have taken away my joy and optimism. Instead, they have strengthened my compassion, resilience, and determination to make a difference.

I strive to embody your founder’s vision of spreading joy, fostering hope, demonstrating courage, and building community. I believe even the smallest act of kindness can change someone’s darkest day. Despite my own struggles, I continue to find reasons to smile, encourage others, and celebrate life’s beautiful moments.

After nearly 20 years in the dental field, helping patients regain confidence became one of my greatest joys. Today, despite ongoing cancer treatments and uncertainty, I am pursuing my education in esthetics and paramedical tattooing. My dream is to help cancer survivors and women affected by trauma rediscover their beauty, confidence, and self-worth.

I want my children to see a woman who never surrendered her dreams, who faced adversity with courage, and who continued lifting others even when she needed lifting herself.

To me, courage is moving forward despite fear. Hope is believing life still holds beautiful possibilities. Joy is finding light in unexpected places. Community is making sure nobody feels alone in their struggles.

Cancer may have changed my future, but it has not taken my spirit, compassion, or desire to inspire others. I cannot control everything this disease takes from me, but I can control what I give to the world. I hope to be remembered not for the battles I fought, but for the love I shared, the hope I inspired, and the light I brought into the lives of others along the way.
