My name is Kersity.  My 12 year old daughter (Ja'leah Gaines) is currently undergoing treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. We only thought she just had a bad cough that would not go away. I took her to PCP twice and they told us she had RSV around the end of March. She still had a cough even after antibiotics and other medications, so  I took her to the ER on Easter. They took x-rays and CT scans, then recommended we take her to see an oncologist. 

Not knowing the severity of her diagnoses.  I ended up taking her to Children's Hospital in Dallas ER and they viewed her x-rays and scans to see what floor they would be admitting her too. She has a biopsy done on April 22.  We were in the hospital for a week. She was diagnosed on April 24,2025 and has started aggressive Chemo requiring me to be out of work for weeks. As you can imagine the emotional and financial toll is immense. I am doing everything I can to support my daughter. I just really need help. Moving forward I will have to be out of work half of the month for 6 months, considering that there are no hiccups along the way. 

She is my only child and my whole world. Any support you can provide would make a profound difference in Ja'leah's journey to recovery and our family's stability. Thank you
