Our Story
At 33 weeks pregnant, what should have been a routine appointment turned into something far more serious. I was diagnosed with preeclampsia, a dangerous condition that progressed quickly. Within days, I was admitted to the hospital, and on August 5th, our baby boy Finnley was born via emergency C-section.
He was immediately taken to the NICU, and I wasn’t able to see him for the first 24 hours. It was one of the hardest moments of my life, not being able to hold him or know he was okay.
Now at 35 weeks, Finnley is growing stronger every day, but he’s still facing challenges, especially with apnea spells that affect his breathing. He needs to go five days without an episode before he can come home. He’s currently back on oxygen, and we’re staying hopeful.
This has been a physically, emotionally, and financially overwhelming time for our family. We’ve created this fundraiser as a way to share our story and open the door for support from those who feel moved to help. Contributions will go toward medical expenses.
We’re incredibly grateful for any support, whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for being part of Finnley’s journey.
