Hi my name is Laquisha, and  I was diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of January. Then, only six months later, my oldest child was diagnosed with cancer.  I’ve been trying to get as much help as I can, and applied for Social Security for my child, but  only approved for $30/month because he is still in the hospital.

This year have been very tough on us with trying to keep a roof over our head and getting the utilities paid while  my kids started school. I haven’t been able to get them clothes or shoes because I’m not able to work. I haven’t been able to take my other two kids to do anything fun because we’ve been traveling back-and-forth to the hospital . I'm worried about the holidays coming, since I can't even afford to buy my kids Halloween costumes. 

Life is really getting hard at the moment and I have nowhere to turn, and do not have a family support system.  I'm pleading and asking for any help- no matter what it is. My family and I truly appreciate it!
