The Anderson Family
Our Story
In January 2023, my life changed almost overnight when I was given a cancer diagnosis. At first, I didn’t know what I was going to do, only one thing was for certain—I would fight with everything I had. And I did. I pushed through treatments with strength, smiling and laughing even when it wasn’t easy.
But this fight has proven relentless. The cancer has returned, (April 2025) stronger than before. Treatments that I once managed with hope and a smile now leave me struggling to find the energy to get through the day.
Through it all, my two boys have been my greatest motivation. I am their mom, their safe place, and their constant—no matter what. Caring for them while navigating this illness is both the hardest and most important thing I’ve ever done. Every day I fight, not just for myself, but for them.
This journey has not only taken a toll on my health but also on my finances. Between medical bills, treatment costs, and the daily needs of raising two growing boys, the weight has become overwhelming. Any support will help lift some of that burden—allowing me to focus on healing, caring for my boys, and continuing to fight.
Family Updates
Well I had one treatment in July that did not agree with me and caused me to lose almost 32 pounds in a very short time. Hard to believe I had that much left on me to lose. But the last two treatments(which I saw the bill- wow- $123K) they have been (seems like) helping.
Other good things my two boys will graduate this year (early in December) and I am trying to make sure I can afford everything for their senior yearas well as get them on the right track for College or entering the work field.
So these funding buckets that I have are my biggest ones right now. So any little bit helps-thank you for taking the time to read thru this.
