The Anderson Family

This fundraiser is to support the family of Mark Anderson. His immediate family includes his wife Laura and three adult children.

After an extended hospital stay, Mark passed away on December 14th 2021 from complications related to a bout with bacterial pneumonia.

Mark had many and varied interests. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. His greatest joy was being able to witness the Cubs finally winning a World Series in 2016. He loved old time jazz music with Bix Beiderbecke being one of his favorites. Mark was the cook at home and he was thrilled to recently win our office Chili Cook-off competition.  Travel, history and his real estate career round out the list.

He was greatly loved and will be missed by a large community of family, friends, co-workers and clients.

He and his wife worked together as Realtors for nearly 21 years.  A client that became a great friend shared this after learning about Mark's passing:

"Mark was an absolute gem of a man. A great person. He was someone I relied on in business and knew as a friend.

The smile, I mean, that smile and laugh. God, I'll miss that smile. And his very direct delivery with me. Mark did not mince words.
