Hello. His name is Don Austin Jr. He has been in the NICU for 2 weeks and doing really good. He was born at 41 weeks and he is doing better than when he came out the wound. I was in labor for 2 days before I officially had him, he was born April 9th 2022. I had to have a C-section with him due to my previous pregnancy 3 years ago. While in the wound he swallowed some of his bowel movement on top of not breathing on his own. He was immediately rushed to NICU without me holding him or not even a kiss due to his condition. I have never experienced a pregnancy as such so this entire experience has been extremely overwhelming and emotional. He is doing really good. He has a physical and speech therapist until he is 5 years old on top of a home health nurse who will come to see him every month. I cannot go back to work until I know his health is under control, being in the NICU has really put my family under a lot of pressure on top of me also having a 3 year old and a 10 year old who has been fending for themselves while I have been in NICU helping him get back in good health. We have ran out of food and I don’t receive food stamps, my light bill is 2000 dollars on top of spending my last on getting back and forth to the hospital because my car is in the shop still due to spending the money on my other 2 kids while in the troubled time and my storage is overdue and we move on the 1st of May😩. I wanna thank everyone for hearing my concern for my son because I know we all have been through it in our own ways with our children. Thank you and God Bless.
