Our Story

Sage was born on 11/20/25 via emergency C-section due to a placenta abruption. This caused her to have blood in her lungs and stomach and had to be resuscitated. She has been brought to the NICU for therapeutic hypothermia to watch her neuro development and let her brain heal.

Family Updates

Sage 9m

Sage has continued to show no impact from her HIE diagnosis. She has been developing like every other 9 month old. She loves crawling and playing. We are so thankful for the love and support. 

Sage 4m

Sage continues to meet her developmental milestones. She was discharged from cardiology because the hole in her heart closed and the valve developed as normal. Neonatology also has discharged her because she has been doing so wonderful.

Update 12/1/25

Sage update - after 12 very long days she was discharged and is home! 🙏🏼Thank you all so much for the prayers, and every way you’ve supported us on this crazy journey 🩶Her siblings are over the moon in love with her.
