In October 2022 I found a lump. At the time my employer didn't offer health insurance.  I had to wait to try and sign up with a company during open enrollment.  Unfortunately that took a few months after the 2023 new year. In March is when I told my employer I was diagnosed with breast cancer.  They said they wanted to have a meeting with me at the end of that week. I was terminated.  I applied for state assistance and was approved.  I started seeing Doctors and now have completed 7 chemotherapy treatments.  I'm struggling financially with no income.
