Hello, my name is Shakiya Carter and I am currently a home owner and the mother of soon to be 4 children.  Due to the complicated circumstances of the pregnancy, I have had to continue the pregnancy and focus on my recovery and my children. I was also placed on bed rest due to my history of pre-eclampsia and having high risk pregnancies which I am still experiencing now. Due to being high risk, I was not able to return to work this fall and have fallen pretty far behind on my mortgage due to not having the income to pay it.

In addition to all of this I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety, and underwent a 4 to 6 week inpatient mental health program due to the stress of the pregnancy, and other factors. I am asking for help with getting caught up on my mortgage, so I do not lose the home that I have been raising my children in for the past 8 years. Please help us save our home. Thank you!
