Hi, my name is Jessica Chappell. I'm married to Brandon and we have 3 beautiful children. At the end of April 2021, I had to leave work due to pain I was having and was feeling so sick. In May of 2021, I had a colonoscopy because of the issues and discovered I had a tumor in my Colon. In June of 2021, I had scans done and discovered the cancer had metastasized to my liver by 80%, lungs and lymph nodes. I started Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy in July of 2021, I did 30 rounds of Chemo and Immunotherapy, and my oncologist told me that I was eligibility to have liver surgery to remove the tumors. I had a liver resection and ablation in November of 2022. I started radiation to my colon in December of 2022 that ended in February of 2023, along with 8 more rounds of chemo.

At the end of April 2023, I had more scans and discovered the cancer was back in my liver. I started treatment's again  in May of 2023 and currently undergoing both treatments, with possible liver surgery again. We have had financial hardship from the past two years because of the medical situation. My husband is out of work taking care of me and my children, we are suffering financially. The only income we have is my disability, where I get a payment monthly and struggling to pay of our bills. My children go back to school soon and I have no idea how I am going to get their school supplies. We have already had a few things repossessed from us, and the well in our home is going, where the cheapest replacement is $8600 and there is no way to come up with that amount to get it fixed.
