Story
Hello, my name is Briana, I’m 30 years old. I hope that you take the time to read my story. I was diagnosed with Stage III Low Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer in February of 2021. This is not my first battle with cancer. I was also diagnosed with Stage II Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma in 2014. After my 9 hour Thyroid surgery, I was cancer free, but I had permanent nerve damage in both arms and hands. I had to relearn how to do everything on my own, and I still am unable to complete daily tasks on my own. All of this happened right after I graduated from college as a Phlebotomist. I also developed many other health conditions, so I’m unable to work. I have 2 inoperable tumors on my abdominal wall, and I’m dying, the doctors are not sure how long I have. I have been in and out of the hospital since June of 2022 with abscesses and a seroma. We want to drive to another state for a second opinion, and we don’t have the funds for that. It has been hard on my family and I with just my husband working, we would appreciate any extra help we could get. Thank you so much.
