The Dejean Family
Our Story
My name is Mia, and I’ve been on a really big journey lately. Some days I spend more time at the hospital than at home. I’ve had lots of pokes, medicine, tests, and chemotherapy treatments that make me feel really tired and sick sometimes. There are days when I feel scared, frustrated, and just want to be a normal kid again.
But I’m still fighting.
Even on the hard days, I try to smile, laugh, play when I can, and keep being strong. My doctors and nurses help take care of me, and my family stays beside me through every appointment, every treatment, and every hard moment.
This journey hasn’t been easy. My body is going through a lot, and there are still many unknowns ahead. But I’m learning how strong I really am.
I may be little, but I am brave.
Thank you to everyone who prays for me, thinks about me, sends love, and supports my family. Every message, prayer, and kind word helps more than you know.
Please keep cheering me on while I keep fighting this battle one day at a time.
Family Updates
Mia recently had a PET scan to see where we stand on her cancer. The scan showed that there was one spot still lighting up but over all progress. We still have 1 1/2 year left of cancer treatment. We are happy with the progress and she is staying strong
