I am single mother or two young men who are in high-school and are both doing exceptionally well academically and who are productive members of society, despite living under extraordinarily challenging circumstances! My husband and the father or her two sons, decided that he didn't want to be married, so while I was undergoing treatment, he moved out to continue his extramarital affair, which by the way produced a child. His departure from the home devastated us financially since I couldn't work during my intensive treatment. My sons and I were evicted from our home, and I have not been able to find somewhere to rent since then, because of the eviction on my credit. Instead, I have had to humble myself and pay my in laws monthly rent so that we can sleep in their living room. My transmission recently went out on my car and my mechanic told me that it would be over $5000 for repairs. So now we must use Uber everywhere we go, which is another bill. I am also paying an exorbitant amount in storage fees for all our personal belongings.

Despite these incredibly formidable circumstances, I am trying to maintain my positivity and continue to raise two fine young men who are actively making plans to attend college (both made the honor roll) and are working hard in school to gain scholarships, so that they won’t be financial burdens. I am continuing to endure significant health setbacks. A few weeks ago, during my oncologists appointment in Tampa, it was discovered that I had a blood sugar of 668 and immediate hospitalization was recommended, but I could not be hospitalized out of town because I had my sons with me and they attend school in West Palm Beach, FL, I decided that it was better that we go back home and wait for an appointment to see my PCP.

Through it all I try to keep my head up and place one foot in front of the other, but there are days when it just seems like that is an unimaginable goal. Any help that you can provide would be a Godsend. Thank you.
