Hi there! My name is Tiana and I'm 32 years young. I was diagnosed with triple positive breast cancer in SITU with DCIS. My symptoms were painful and concerning for over a year before I was finally diagnosed. I am now one year into surviving cancer. I have had a skin saving bilateral breast tissue removal, completed 15 rounds of chemo, completed daily radiation, and as of October 18th I will have completed my immunotherapy. I have lost my insurance, been forced to move due to the financial strain and lost 32 pounds from changing my diet due to mouth sores attributed to chemotherapy. I am now on the Tamoxifen chemotherapy pill that is meant to prevent reoccurrence of the breast cancer, despite not having breast, and this has begun it's own host of problems. I am undergoing biopsy to test my endometrium due to thickening caused by the Tamoxifen and I have painful liquid filled large cysts in my ovaries. Despite all of this I have a reason to smile! My 7-year-old has been giving me knock-knock jokes and keeping me distracted with our arts and crafts! He brings me back to earth each and every time. I still need help to maintain a roof over my head and a place for him to come and visit me as with my symptoms after chemo and neuropathy makes it difficult to care for him fulltime at this time. I still need a way to connect and communicate with him and with his school to remain involved by way of my phone and internet. Please open your hearts to help.
