    Name
    Skye Fleming
    Injury/Illness
Two hand surgeries, severe adrenal fatigue, carpal tunnel, Hashimoto's Disease, IBS

I’ve been a single mom since 2011, and all of my immediate family passed away by 2009, and I am an only child. I have a 15 & 21 year old at home. On May 23, 2023, I woke up to the loss of half the use of my arms, hands, and legs. Through time I found that I had both severe adrenal fatigue from stress and being overworked and severe carpal tunnel. I have not worked in over 8 months, as I was just cleared to go back to work on January 2. I continue to look for work as my 21 year old son continues to support us with help kindly given along the way. I had double hand surgery in August and September so my hands are still healing and it will be up to one year before I resume full strength. My son started this new job in fall and hasn’t been able to keep up with the water bill which we owe $1,127 on. Our electric bill is not looking good either.

My son is a school bus driver, and he is also short on rent now for February 1st, only because he didn't work for 2 weeks over Christmas break and on snowy winter warning cold days we had over the past weeks there was no school open in the area he does the pickups. Most of the kids he picks up are special or handicapped and they ride a mini bus to small private schools with my son as the driver. No school open equals no work and no pay. He’s missed roughly 3 weeks of work due to this. This is the original “Gofundme” post from May 2023. If you can help, it would be greatly appreciated.  https://gofund.me/05bac050
