The Gillette Family
Our Story
Hello Ja’meilah & Ja’Miah are mono chorionic twins, born at just six months gestation. They fought to the very end to come into the world. Ja’Miah was getting the good nutrients, while Ja’Meilah only got what she could with one placenta.
Being born prematurely comes with a lot of trials and tribulations. Having to be in the hospital two hours away from home has been very challenging. Driving back and fourth 100 miles both ways takes a toll on your car and physically draining . While it is doable, it’s been very hard to keep up financially.
Ja’Miah finally came home Oct.8th, but has lots of appointments which are miles away. As for ja’meilah, she’s still in the NICU. I’m so grateful for the doctors and nurses for the progress they have made. Although they can only do so much, babies always need their families for love and support.
My funds are coming to an end and trying to go back and fourth for my twins. With the economy going down during this time, it’s been difficult trying to balance bills, hospital stays and doctor visits. If you can find it in your heart to donate, any help big or small is GREATLY appreciated. Thank you for your time I hope the times are finding you well.
Sincerely, a trying mom❤️
