My journey into motherhood began unexpectedly and far earlier than I ever imagined. After being rear-ended in a car accident, I experienced preterm premature rupture of membranes (PPROM), which led to my baby being born at just 2lbs 12oz at 30 weeks. What should have been the final stretch of my pregnancy quickly turned into a fight for stability, strength, and hope inside the NICU.

Since then, I have been navigating the emotional and physical challenges of having a premature baby watching my child grow stronger day by day while facing breathing support, feeding milestones, and all the uncertainty that comes with preterm birth. Through it all, I remain committed to being there for my baby every step of the way.

At the same time, I am also caring for my disabled father following a serious spinal injury. On top of that, I am still dealing with my own injury a concussion I sustained last March while working with children with autism which has left me unable to return to work. These challenges have created significant financial and emotional strain for me and my family.

Despite everything, I am doing my best to stay strong. Right now, my focus is on being present for my baby, supporting my father, and getting through each day as it comes. Any support would help ease this burden and allow me to continue caring for the people who depend on me most while working toward a more stable future.
