    Name
    Jonathan Nester Harvey Sr
    Injury/Illness
    Colon Cancer

I am Jonathan Nester Harvey Sr. I was diagnosed with colon cancer October 15, 2023. I had a surgery on the 9th of October due to Diverticulitis. Few days before I could be discharged, the doctor came and informed that the part of my intestine that was cut off during the surgery, was sent to the lap and the result shows I have Colon cancer.  I am currently going through Chemo Therapy Treatment. The chemo is very hard on me.

This news was very depressing and I lost hope and felt bad the rest of the day. Before my illness, I got employed with Lutheran Social Services. I got employed August 23, 2023, I completed all my in service training by the end of August and started to work. I worked the whole of September but on the 3rd of October, I was taken to Regions Hospital and I was admitted for almost a week before the surgery. My job boss at Lutheran Social Services was informed and I was told that I am not qualified for short and long term disability because I had not work the required hours for such benefit and I had not made 90 days on the job. Currently I have not income, I live along and have no one to take care of me. My bills are sometime paid by friends and family. Some time it is very hard to work the phone and asking people to help up with my bills.

My kids are all grown and go away for school. They some time call to check on me. They are not working to help me out. I am very stress out and depressed when the rent and other bill are due at the end of the month. In view of all this, I am seeking help from anyone to enable me get a live and meet up with my financial problem. I have a little son in Liberia, west Africa and I my wife in Liberia. I file in for her and was approved by the US Immigration since June last year. Her case is currently active and with the National VISA Center (NVC). They continue to tell me that they waiting for the embassy in Liberia. I badly need my son and his my wife here to help me while I am going through the chemo therapy treatment. I need help. Please help Jonathan
