Hello, My son Brayden has Cerebral Palsy and is currently hospitalized in St. Pete FL. Brayden recently had a major surgery on his spine 12/11/23 . Once he was released from the hospital he became ill due to developing pneumonia and RSV which resulted in him being hospitalized again on a ventilator on 12/22/23 just weeks after surgery. March 2022 Brayden had trachea surgery and that resulted in a very hard and stressful decision to have him placed in a long term care facility in FL. We are originally from Ga, so I have to now drive 4 1/2 hrs to be with him. With his current illness, I have been on unpaid leave since 12/11/23 to be in FL with Brayden. Along, with the worries of his health , the stress and worries with financial needs are a very heavy burden.
