Caleb and Jacob spent the last 32 weeks sharing an amniotic sac as they are a fairly rare type of identical twin called MonoChorionic, MonoAmniotic. Due to risks of cord entanglement of this type of twin, Mommy had a 62 day inpatient stay leading up to a scheduled C-section delivery at 32 weeks. The most difficult part of the inpatient stay was having mommy away from her other 3 kids for two months. Now that Caleb and Jacob have arrived we split time between the NICU and home with our other 3 lovely children. Caleb has a complication which led to having the upper lobe of his left lung removed on 4/22/2019, but he is a fighter and we know he will recover stronger than he was before.
