The Karna Family

Adeline Violet Karna was born on May 16th, 2022. She was seven weeks early and weighed 2 lbs 2 oz. She has been in the NICU at St. Paul Children's Hospital since her birth. She is doing well and getting bigger and stronger every day. Since her family lives in Sartell, MN, they have been staying with relatives in the St. Paul area and visiting Adeline daily. Her mother, Sarah, had saved up paid-time-off leave to use after Addy was born but since she arrived seven weeks early that time has been used up. Sarah has started going back to work a few days a week to earn some more PTO while her dad stays in St. Paul to visit Addy each day. With Sarah not working full-time, things have been a little tight over the last few months. We have had incredible support from our friends and family and truly thank them all. The staff at Children's have also been amazing and we are so thankful for all their support as well.
