The Laducer Family

Hi! this Is Reece. he was born with two genetic gene mutations that are associated with seizures. Because of his condition he is unable to walk or talk. He is completely dependent on me and home health care nurses. I try my best to keep him healthy at home, and to give him the best quality of life I possibly can. Sometimes he just happens to get sick and is admitted to the hospitals for a long period of time. I am a single mother of 5 wonderful children. When Reece gets flown out 4 hours away, I have a great support team and a supportive family where we live. My mother will keep my other kids so I can concentrate on Reece's health. I do my best to support them on my own, but when Reece is in the hospitals I can not work. I work for the county under a CAC waiver. So basically even when I'm at the hospital with him I can not claim hours for work. This is when I really can use the help. I need help paying my everyday bills. from rent to car payments. I do have a business degree and I'm great with budgeting my funds. Unfortunately there is only so far a parent can stretch a dollar. Right now Reece has been admitted in the hospital for over 2 weeks now. He is still on a ventilator and we are not sure how much longer he will be here. His right lower lung is collapsed and keeps filling with fluid and mucus. Any time he is sick it will throw off his seizure threshold. So not only is he battling an illness, he also has the seizures that worsen. I don't want to make this an autobography  so I'm keeping it short.
