Over the past year or so, our mom has tripped or fallen a few times which caused concern. It was on December 26th, 2021 when our mom had fallen, and broke her wrist, that we asked doctors to dig a little deeper into what might be causing the instability in her legs, which led to the falls. After several visits with very reputable doctors and support staff, our mom was formally diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) in April of 2022. As our family has been and continues to learn about this disease, we are also realizing the necessity of care and the lifestyle obstacles associated with it. Our family is strong, loving, and organized, and we have a goal of making our mom's life as comfortable and enlightening as possible. With the support of our community, medical team, and yes, even perfect strangers-we are seeking the funding and resources to help keep our mom's time extra special.
