Premature, baby is in NICU
I was diagnosed with preeclampsia at 29 weeks, just a couple short days later I ended up in the emergency room in critical condition where I was sent to Sanford hospital for emergency care. The medical team started me on mangnesium right away and started the induction process due to my severity from preeclampsia. My son was born on 1/16/24 only 2 lbs 11oz. He’s currently in the NICU and will be for atleast a couple months until he’s better. We’re almost 4 hours away from home and my family is caring for my other 4 children at this time. I plan on staying in Bismarck with my son until he’s well to come home.
