Kingston’s surgery to remove a brain tumor in 2018 left him paralyzed and mute 3 weeks before his 4th birthday. After 3 1/2 years in remission he has relearned to walk, talk and eat again. He started elementary school and is learning to play baseball. During an MRI last fall, on September 6, 2022 we got the sad news that his cancer has come back a second time and is spread to his spinal cord. I am his primary caretaker and cannot work out of the house as I am his full time home health aide. I provide for Kingston, who is now 8 and my daughter Zuma, who is 7, and I’ve fallen behind with our May rent while trying to stay on top of the medical bills and out of pocket costs for his educational therapy is not covered by insurance at all and I could not afford last months insurance premiums. Because we lost that insurance I am 100% responsible for the full cost of his weekly occupational & physical therapy sessions that are crucial to his ability to be mobile and have independence from day to day. Our family appreciates any resources, referrals, financial aid and all of your prayers and words of encouragement.
