Hello, my name is Dawn and with me in the photo is my son Trenton. I also have a cute little red dog, Pancho who has been with us for 6yrs since he was a puppy. During the end of COVID, I was diagnosed with cervical cancer tht had already progressed to stage III. For the next 6 wks I wld endure radiation (daily) as well as chemo (once a week) followed by internal radiation surgery 4X over 4 weeks.
Life hasn't been the same ever since. As a gig worker, I specialize in residential painting and after COVID, I much needed to go bk to work. Instead, I dealt with the severe fatigue from treatment and have had a difficult time adjusting to a regular working schedule.
I enjoy my life with Trent and Pancho and have a lot to be grateful for today. With the Lord by my side, Ive been blessed with a roof over my head but my van was stolen this year and yet to b recovered. I'm having a hard time getting bk on my feet. Now in stage IV, the cancer has spread to my lymphnoid and lung. BUT, immunotherapy has stabilized the spread and thru improved eating habits and specific supplements, I feel confident tht we can beat this!
