Hi, my name is Darrell Pierson and I’ve been diagnosed with stage 3 Lung Cancer. I’m a machine operator at PCA (Packaging Corporation of America). I’ve been working diligently for 30 years on the front lines of the plant to make sure we meet production quotas and the highest standards of quality for the packaging we produce. I overcame Colon Cancer in 2013 as well as Covid in 2021. Now I’m battling Lung Cancer. They removed part of my lung to stop it from spreading but it was unsuccessful, and the cancer spread. This has left me unable to work and in financial distress, with mounting medical bills and mortgage I’m struggling. Any assistance is appreciated in helping me and my family get through this, thanks.
