Madison recently turned six and she is such a bright, outgoing little girl through her long journey from learning. She was going to need a heart transplant at four to being diagnosed with a lymphoma cancer after she received her heart transplant has been devastating to my family. Just when we thought Madison overcame one hurdle, she was hit with another one. This journey has not been easy and we’ve seen a lot of Sad days! But No matter those circumstances. Madison is always happy, outgoing and willing to keep going. I remember one day I was really frustrated and just sad for her and she looked at me and said mom you just gotta have patience and be happy. I wish the whole world could meet Madison because she has a Present about her that will brighten up any bad day!! I can’t even imagine what my own child goes through and as a mother sometimes I feel so helpless because I can’t just take all her pain away. All I can do is sit there and watch it happen, and that is the most devastating thing in the world. I have had to stop working to care for Madison and I would never change it for the world. It has caused a lot of strain on my family and has made it hard to make ends meet, but we just rely on God to get us through this. I know some days are not going to be easy, but with the help of others, it will at least take a little of the worry away. We already have enough to worry about with her health!! worrying about bills is something I am struggling with right now & me and my family are grateful for any and everything that is done for us.
