On what seemed like an ordinary day, our family’s world changed forever. Our mom, Laura, was diagnosed with Grade 4 glioblastoma (GBM), which is one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer. And within days, life became a blur of emergency room visits, brain surgery, countless tests, difficult conversations, and a future filled with uncertainty.

Mom underwent a successful craniotomy to remove as much of the tumor as possible. While we are incredibly grateful for that outcome, surgery was only the beginning of her journey. She now faces radiation, chemotherapy, ongoing MRI scans, specialist appointments at MD Anderson, medications, rehabilitation, and the daily challenges that come with fighting this devastating disease.

If you’ve ever met our mom, you know she is not someone who asks for help. She has always been the person offering kindness, encouragement, and support to everyone around her. She has spent her life caring for others, and now it’s our turn to care for her.

Mom is currently staying with Justin so our family can help her through treatment and ensure she has the care, comfort, and support she needs every day. While we’re committed to walking this road together, the financial impact has become overwhelming.
