    Injury/Illness
    Cancer

Isaiah went to the doctor in January to be told he had gas to give him anti acid for a week. After a week we went back to the doctor where they did a picture of his stomach and found he was backed up. They ordered him to take mirlax everyday for 6 months. The following Wednesday we got a call from the school that Isaiah fell and busted his head open. He ended up having 7 stitches placed. Isaiah remained home Thursday but planned to return to school Friday. He then woke up very sick and disoriented on Friday. We called the doctor and they said to take him and get a scan of his head due to his fall. Upon receiving results we were told Isaiah had a brain tumor and needed to be life watched to a bette hospital. We spent January 19th to March 8th at children’s mercy in KC. He underwent multiple surgeries including brain surgery and the tumor was found to be cancerous. Isaiah completed radiation a week ago as well as still still currently doing outpatient rehab. He has what is called medulloblastoma and posterior fossa syndrome. He has had to relearn how to walk, talk, eat, drink and everything. He starts chemo back up in May where  he will go for treatment weekly to KC plus once every 4 weeks he will do a inpatient stays. Any and all financial help is needed as I haven’t been able to work since January 19th.
