Story
Name
Caleb Rogers
Injury/Illness
Brain Tumor
In September 2019, Caleb had a seizure at school. At the time, it was thought to be Viral Encephalitis as the spot on the scan did not appear to be a tumor. December 2019, he had a similar seizure which resulted in a biopsy. January 6, 2020, he was diagnosed with a Grade 3 Anaplastic Astrocytoma (Glioma). The tumor is diffused into good parts of the brain so it is inoperable and whatever could be taken for the biopsy was removed. We are relying on Radiation and Chemotherapy to reduce and kill this tumor so he can make a full recovery.
