I am a 74 year old woman who is struggling financially from having colon cancer during the pandemic. I underwent surgery, was hospitalized and in an extended care facility for a month.

Previously, I worked as a social worker for many years. I have spent my entire life dedicated to helping people, especially seniors, developmentally disabled adults, chemically dependent people, and the unemployed.

Due to my getting colon cancer, my doctor has restricted my ability to work in person, as my immune system remains compromised. The desire to work is there, but I find it hard to find a job working remotely in my field. I continue to look daily, but with the colon cancer treatment and the pandemic, I have used up almost all of my savings and any assets I've had. 

I have a gift for sculpting and creating  collages, winning many awards, and have my art in places such as Hennepin County Medical Center, the hospital, Whittier Clinic and St. Paul's and St. Benedict's Monastery to name a few. My art is in many private collections, too. 

During the time I have remaining of my life, I would like to be able to create more sculptures in public spaces and continue to uplift the human spirit!

I need help with paying for my rent and try to replenish my savings I've depleted. Any help you are able to give would be greatly appreciated. Bless you, and thank you.  I would be happy to share prints of my art to people who contribute.
